Gut zu wissen: Hessen hat in vielen Hightech-Bereichen die Nase vorn. \nRaumfahrt ohne optische Technologien wäre nicht machbar\, auch der Hoffnungsträger „Fusionsenergie“ – zum Teil mit ultrastarken Lasern betrieben – könnte ohne die Schlüsselbranchen Optik\, Photonik\, Elektronik und Mechanik nicht funktionieren: Innovationen den Weg bereiten will die fachübergreifende Fachmesse und Konferenz für Zukunftstechnologien\, W3+ Fair (w3-fair.com)\, die am 13. + 14. März 2024 in Wetzlar ihre Tore öffnet. Anlässlich ihres 10. Geburtstags holt die Veranstaltung visionäre Hightech-Konzepte für übermorgen in die Buderus Arena. Interessant: Vielfach ist die Technik „made in Hessen“. \nNeben zahlreichen Key Playern und Hidden Champions\, die sich auf der Veranstaltung präsentieren\, darunter Carl Zeiss SMT\, Leica Camera\, OptoTech\, Hensoldt\, Trioptics\, Harmonic Drive oder Werth Messtechnik\, wird jede Menge Wissen und Inspiration geboten: Mit Dr. Thomas Reiter\, dem ehemaligen ESA-Raumfahrer und Prof. Dr. Johann-Dietrich Wörner\, Raumfahrtkoordinator der Hessischen Landesregierung\, stehen gleich zwei prominenten Fachleute zum Thema „Raumfahrt“ auf der Bühne. Gemeinsam mit der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen werden Einblicke in neuste Entwicklungen der Raumfahrtindustrie gegeben und erörtert\, wie das Projekt „Hessen in Space“ der Hessischen Landesregierung vorangetrieben werden kann. \nAuch das Zukunftsthema „sichere\, saubere und nahezu unbegrenzte Energie durch Fusion“ hat in Hessen starke Akteure. Passend zum Fokus der Landesregierung\, Hessen zum Leitstandort für die Erforschung der Kernfusion zu machen\, experimentiert das Start-up „Focused Energy“ aus Darmstadt zur Zukunft der Energiegewinnung durch Laserfusion. Einmalig ist die Besetzung des Panels\, das zum Thema „Anforderung an die Lieferketten“ referiert. So sind auch Pionier „Marvel Fusion“ aus München sowie ein Unternehmen der Magnetfusion zu Gast. Die Einführung übernimmt Prof. Dr. Constantin Häfner\, Leiter des Fraunhofer Instituts für Laserforschung ILT aus Aachen und Leiter der BMBF-Expertenkommission zur Fusionsforschung\, die für das Bundesministerium eine Empfehlung erarbeitet hat. \nAndere visionäre Themen bekommen auf der W3+ Fair ebenfalls eine Bühne.
